When our Nat came into work on Thursday Morning with the biggest grin ever we knew it had to be F1 related in some way but when she proceeded to tell us what she got up to on her day-off on Wednesday of course we though she was pulling our legs- then she got out the pictures!
Nat made the journey down the Milton Keynes (She lives in Birmingham) on the off chance that she may get a glimpse of Mr Vettel and at best maybe get a picture with him...but thanks to the team at Red Bull Racing she got a whole lot more than that.
Nat has given us all the details of how the day folded out for them...here is the short version!
Nat arrived at the Red Bull Factory hoping to catch Seb as he went in- when she was trying to figure out where she would feel she would have the best chance she bumped into him (just like Silverstone 2011 all over again) luckily she had her camera on her and plucked up the courage to ask for a picture. For some reason Nat gets all a bit quiet around these Red Bull guys- which is sooooo not the case normally! But she got her pic thanks to a kind unidentified gentleman who was with Seb who managed to take not one but TWO photographs! Nat was ready to go home but as she had hoped to drop off a congratulation card and balloons she quickly went and grabbed them from Buba (her car which has a massive Vettel sticker on the windscreen) and headed back to the building Seb had just gone into hoping to catch him on the way out! Well she wasn't at all prepared for what was about to happen next. She and a handful of other loyal fans were kindly invited into the press conference!!! INTO THE PRESS CONFERENCE as Nat repeated about three times volume increasing each time before she continued!
She told us about the press conference and how David Coulthard was doing a Q&A with Seb, Christian Horner and Adrian Newey and how they had this massive screen with shots from the season so far- she has quite a few pics of this!
She then got her opportunity to give Seb his card and balloons so the mission was acomplished! But as well as the press conference she got to meet Chrisitan Horner, Adrian Newey and David Coulthard and also got a couple of rather nice postcards from the lovely Red Bull Racing receptionist.
She hasn't stopped smiling since and she did thoroughly deserve it as she is a very, very loyal fan! She knows I am doing a piece on the blog about it and asked if I could just mention how grateful she and the other fans were and say a huge thank you to Red Bull Racing!
She has also told myself (a die-hard Mclaren fan) to watch out in 2012. I am not worried... ….but back in January she told me Red Bull would be pulling the double again and she was right!

This weekend in Motorsport.
Well Red Bull Racing have finally secured their consecutive constructers championship. We don't know about you guys but we quite enjoyed that race. That battle between Webber and Hamilton kept us the edge of our seats- Vettel was got in front and ran away with it as usual and we waited in anticipation to see what Button could pull out the bag especially when light rain was announced!
Vettel deserved to take the win, he was faultless and most importantly very very fast even setting the fastest lap on the last lap!
Unfortunately we have all woken up to the news that the legendary Dan Wheldon was taken from us in a fatal incident yesterday.
RIP Dan Wheldon- you did Great Britain Proud!

It's official Vettel has done it again!
The boy has gone and done it again!
Vettel is the 2011 Formula1 world Champion, joining only a hand-full of drivers who have won championships back to back! Apart from Vettel clinching his title wasn't it a thrilling race! Jenson took a well deserved win and didn't Rosberg do well starting from the back of the grid to finish 10th- Bravo!
As many of you may already know, we are all F1 mad in the office and most of us are die-hard Mclaren fans so we were especially delighted at Buttons result- bit disappointed with Hamiltons weekend thought- we were all convinced that he would have been on pole and cannot begin to understand 'that' mistake !
And what about the lone Vettel fan in the office!... well as you can guess she hasn't stopped smiling and giving the Finger....the Seb finger of course!
Just incase anyone was mistaken with who she supported check out what her desk looks like this morning.

RIP Steve Jobs 1955-2011.
The Onefruit team were saddened to hear of the passing of Steve Jobs.
There is not a day which passes where at least one member of the team use an Apple product.
Mr Jobs revolutionised the way in which the world functioned, he is responsible for bringing to life the romantic notions of a mobile office station allowing you to perform most office tasks whilst not having to be at your desk or being able to hold your entire music collection in the palm of your hand.
There is a lot the world can be thankful to Steve Jobs for, and although it is a sad thought that one who was still quite young was taken from us, we were lucky to of had this amazing human being who shared his thoughts and dreams with the world and made everything just that little bit easier...RIP Steve Jobs.

The New 2011 F1 Wolrd Champion:..Well Nearly!
As you may already know we are all F1 nuts in the Onefruit and we all couldn't wait for the Singapore Grand Prix to see if Vettel could actually clinch the title. He couldn't quite manage yesterday, through no fault of his own like, but the lone Vettel fan in the office is confident it will all be sewn-up in Japan and let's face it you would be a brave gambler if you bet any different!
And so we go onto the next race for it all to be official, Schumacher had obviously been sipping the wrong brand of energy drink and what was all that about with Massa and Hamilton in the press conference afterwards... there have been some quite heated discussions in the office this morning as you can probably guess we are all mostly Hamilton or Button fans...McLaren supporters in general.
Of course the Vettel fan agrees with the stewards decision with a penalty be given to Hamilton- her point being that although it was a racing incident which indeed could have happened to anyone, anywhere, but it affected Massa's race so something had to be done- she also added it wasn't helped by the fact that Hamilton carried on for a couple of laps with a broken front wing and didn't seem to be too affected by it all.
But most of the office feels that Hamilton, as always, has been made an example of!
What do you think- we would love to know- contact us via our facebook page or tweet us @Onefruitwsp!

Look at what the Onefruit team came across on a stroll through Birmingham!
On Sunday a few of the Onefruit team were taking a leisurely stroll through Birmingham City center when they came across a mass of art and culture.
From simply turning a corner the whole teams were catapulted into a buzzing party atmosphere, it was almost as if they were a part of a lively Brazilian street party. You had no chance but to surrender to the enchanting, exotic and seriously toe-tapping tempting band.
Although we were not the only ones to sort of 'lose ourselves' in the moment- check out the guy in the blue shirt in the 2nd video - we wish he was in the office to greet us on a Monday morning!

Royal Couple Fever!
Today a few of the Onefruit team had rather a suprise- they were casually enjoying thier well-earned lunch breaks and came across none other than the Royal couple Kate & William.
The team were able to capture this historic visit to Birmingham on video and have been replaying the clips none-stop! Kate looked lovely as ever and she is as stunning in real life as she is in the magazines and on TV....... And yes those shrieks of delight were mostly from the Onefruit team- we just couldn't help ourselves!

Good weekend, good week, what more can we ask for?
With our win an i-Pod shuffle competition now in full swing, and the weather hopefully brightening up towards the end of week, things seem to be picking up in the Onefruit office.
Last week ended on a high, with new clients purchasing Dyson Air Multiplier fans and Dehumidifier products from us.
The weekend also ended on a high for one half of McLaren, with Jenson Button notching up his second win of the season at his 200 Grand Prix. Things didn’t fair as well for Lewis Hamilton, with a drive by penalty for a near miss with Paul Di Resta, and also a bad choice of tyres just as the rain began to come down again!
Despite the current world champion Sebastian Vettel finishing second, he has still increased his lead in the championship. The Onefruit office doesn’t really know what it will be doing whilst F1 is on its summer break, find a new sport or hibernating on Sundays is the best shout so far!
The weather is very warm at the moment, so now is a great time to pick up your Dyson Air Multiplier fans. If you haven’t seen it, the fan is completely bladeless, the novelty still hasn’t worn off putting our hand through it…..anyway.
We hope you have a great week, as usual, please call or email if you do require any further information on any of our products.

What month is it again?
With the varying weather over the past few weeks, some of us would be forgiven for thinking we were having a second Spring. With plenty of rain over the past few days, it was a welcome relief for the sun to come out!
Although the sun was shining on Sunday, we all still managed to drag ourselves in doors and watch the German Grand Prix, and what a race it was! We all certainly feel a little sorry for Jenson Button, with the previous races pit problems, and hydraulic problems this week, his form hasn't looked great since the Canadian Grand Prix. Things couldn't be more different for Lewis Hamilton. With all of his issues over the last few races, it was great to see him get his head down and pull off a stunning qualification lap, and also a great race!
The McLaren and Ferrari turnaround couldn't be more different to the woes of Red Bull. With Mark Webber not being able capitalise on his pole position, and Sebastian Vettel making an uncharacteristic mistake, is it too early too say that the turning point in the season has arrived? Red Bull still clearly have a large points difference, but with the other cars getting quicker by the week, who knows how long this will last!
Other than the F1, its been a very busy week in the Onefruit office. With Dyson meetings, new tenders, and new projects to work on, the future is looking very good for all of the team.

Recycling
Our poll on recycling still has a day to run, so before it ends we thought it would be a good idea to talk about why we should recycle.
Over the past few years, we have been inundated with stories about global warming, recycling, and the environment. We are, as many believe, on the edge of a global disaster! Whether or not you believe in global warming though, it seems pretty obvious that if we dispose of our waste materials more effectively, products can be either re-used or disposed of more efficiently - which is obviously a good thing. Councils around the UK are getting recycling bins out to all homes, so we really have no excuse. Here at Onefruit, we are looking at ways to make our business greener, and are making sure that we dispose of our plastic water cups in an environmentally friendly way.
Its great to look over the web and see different ideas that people are adopting to make the most of our waste. Here are two of our favourite sites at the moment...

Are the votes in?
After seven days on the blog, the serious question on our lips regarding the Dyson Air Multiplier and cost was not answered at all! If you did not see the poll, never mind there will be others. I'll post some more information on the Dyson Air Multiplier, just in case you are not aware what it is!
F1 Nuts
A few of the guys were lucky enough to travel to the British Grand Prix at the weekend! The office is pretty mad about its F1, so we were all very jealous about them travelling down. Not only that, but they were lucky enough to see Sebastian Vettel and Christian Horner leaving track.
But anyway, for your delight, we have this footage! As you can tell by the shaky images, and high pitched screams, this was a very exciting moment for Seb.

You still have a few days to vote in our poll, let us know your thoughts on how you cool down on those hot Summer days!
New week, busy times
What a busy start to the week it has been! We have only been in the office for a few hours, but the phones have not stopped ringing.
With the weather fluctuations over the last week or so, we have received many calls regarding water coolers. Of course, as soon as the temperature rises, so does our need for hydration! As you may or may not know (especially you managing directors out there) the more hydrated you are, the higher your concentration levels will be over the day. If you feel lethargic, or unable to concentrate, have a good cold drink, it should do the trick!
Athletes obviously hydrate themselves to stay in tip top condition, and those of you who exercise regularly will understand the need to take on water. But are you exercising correctly? We recently saw this post on the guardian website which we though was pretty interesting...
We hope you have a great week, if you do feel that you need more water in the office, give us a call for our special offers on water coolers and Dyson fan rentals.

Dehumidifiers part II
Just a quick update to the previous post. You must remember to change your filters every 3 months or so to keep it in tip top working condition. Dust, smoke and animal hair are the biggest causes of a filter getting clogged up, so the room should also be dusted regularly! If you need any help or advice with filter choice, please dont hesitate to contact us.
Have a great day!

Humidity - How to get around it.
As you have probably noticed, the humidity levels have been up and down all week, with several nights being particularly uncomfortable. This is down to the humidity levels, and the amount of moisture in the air. Most of us wish for a good thunder storm to clear the air during these hot times, but there is another option. All week we have been inundated for further information on dehumidifiers, and how they can help throughout the year. So we’ve put together some details to help you along the way.
During the hot summer periods, if you feel that the temperature is hot and sticky, a dehumidifier may be for you. If you also regularly see condensation on your windows, or damp and mould spots in the corners of cold or little used rooms, the air in your home probably contains excess moisture. If you don’t do anything about it, this moisture can damage your carpets, curtains, furniture and even your walls. You need a dehumidifier to remove this excess moisture before it becomes a serious problem.
A dehumidifier works like a small fridge, making it the coldest place in the house. Air is drawn into the cold dehumidifier where any moisture in the air condenses into water, and is collected on the easy pour container.
90% of homes can produce 3- 5 pints per day, but every home is different. You will soon know if your dehumidifier is working effectively as condensation will start to disappear and your home will feel much drier and healthier.
At the moment, the weather and climate is playing a big part towards the humidity levels in your own home, but the list is virtually endless; running a shower or bath, boiling a kettle, cooking a meal, doing the dishes and drying laundry all increase the level of moisture in your home. Even something as simple as breathing can add to the problem creating condensation and damp!
An added bonus of using a dehumidifier is that you may find your washing dries quicker with it in your home, which is a great benefit in winter, or if you live in an apartment that has no outside drying space.
We hope that helps a little and gives you a better idea about the uses of dehumidifiers. If you do need any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our number is 0800 0325615, or email one of the sales team, sales@onefruit.co.uk.

Roller-coaster Weather
What a crazy week it has been weather wise! We have been looking at heavy showers, baking hot sun, light showers and wind. With the longest day of the year now a memory, its only down hill from here (unfortunately).
Of course, when the sun is out, Onefruit is extremely busy with sales of water and fans. With this in mind and the temperamental weather, we are currently reviewing our range of products to keep our product base up to date for Autumn/Winter. We have a couple of new and exciting products that will be launched later on in the year, so watch this space!
As always, we have special offers available on rental of Dyson Airblades, Dyson Air Multiplier fans, and also water coolers. If you would like any information, please don't hesitate to call 0800 0325615, or email sales@onefruit.co.uk.
Have a great week, what's left of it anyway!
PS. If the sun does stay out, don't forget to keep hydrated!
